Expectations for a typical session:

Review health history, feeding goals, and challenges.
Examine parent’s breasts/chest, if needed.
Evaluate infant reflexes, suck, oral anatomy, and weights before/after feeding.
Observe feeding, including latch assessment and hands-on positioning guidance.
Develop personalized feeding and care plans.
Support and education for nipple/breast pain or concerns, feeding expectations, oral restrictions (tongue ties, lip ties, buccal ties), pumping, bottle feeding, self care, products, feeding refusal, milk supply management, infant medical challenges, and more. [see FAQs]

If needed, we’ll discuss coordination with your pediatrician or other providers for additional support.
